What this tool is for
Extract only the pages you need from a longer PDF and save them as a separate file for sharing, printing, or submission.
How to use it
- Select one PDF file.
- Enter the page range you want.
- Check the range format.
- Click “Split PDF” and save split.pdf.
Local file processing
The selected PDF is processed in your browser. Your file is not sent to a server for page extraction.
Limitations
- Page numbers must be at least 1 and within the PDF page count.
- Encrypted or damaged PDFs may not open.
- Very large PDFs may fail if browser memory is limited.
FAQ
Which range formats are supported?
You can enter ranges such as “1-3”, “2,4,6”, or “1-2,5,8-10”.
What happens if a page number is too high?
The tool shows an error and does not create a PDF.
Is the original PDF changed?
No. A new PDF is created from the selected pages.
